Happy Hallowe'en!

They're not big on Hallowe'en in Scotland- it's more about Bonfire Night, and fireworks for about two months before and two months after the November 5 festival. However, we couldn't resist carving a pumpkin.

Mull and Iona

For Jenny's mid-term break we took five days to travel to the Western Isles of Mull and Iona. Mull is the largest of the Isles, and Iona is best known its abbey which now serves as a spiritual retreat centre for lay Christians.
